Victory Tabernacle Missions Board

Mission Statement:

The Victory Tabernacle Mission Board exists to promote home and foreign missions endeavoring to follow the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

Goals:

MISSION GOALS FOR VICTORY TABERNACLE

  • Pray for our local church.  Our mission effort must start at home. Then it will spread around the world.  If we do not pray and support our local church, we are not likely to pray for the harvest of the world.
  • Annually, to have an active project/s and /or an on-going project.

To endeavor to help every Victory Tabernacle members to be aware of and become a participant in the Great Commission.

Promotion once a month with a special congregational offering.

Publish information concerning projects and activities the Victory Tabernacle Missions board is involved with.

  • To emphasize Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (This is a model verse that says nothing should hinder us in the United States from carrying the Gospel to the whole world.)

To perform ministry (projects) each year as the Lord opens the door and supplies the need.

All of the goals are subject to the approval of the Pastor of Victory Tabernacle.  Hebrews 13:17, “Obey them that have rule over you, and submit yourselves; for they watch for your souls, as they must give account that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.”

Increase our ability to work projects by working to enlarge our budgets, encouraging dedicated committed church members to carry out the great commission by participating in missions projects
