about us

MISSION

Victory Christian Academy exists to provide a Christ-centered environment that integrates learning with biblical faith so that students can achieve God’s purpose for their lives—spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.

VISION

Victory Christian Academy will be a shining example of excellent Christian education in our region, defined by a commitment to authentic biblical truth, a thorough academic program, and students who are striving to be unashamed disciples of Christ advancing the Kingdom of God.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe

At VCA, faith and learning go hand in hand. We’ve developed a unique educational model that infuses outstanding academic preparation with a Christ-centered, biblical outlook and approach.

With Christ as the common bond, our differences—our unique God-given talents, our diverse cultures, and passions—find room to grow and develop together. Our small classroom size and attentive personal approach opens doors to opportunities not available in other schools or programs.

become

We create lifelong learners, creative thinkers, passionate disciples, and visionary leaders.

CURRICULUM

Schools and homeschools around the world use the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow® program in the training of their children. The A.C.E. program consists of Bible-based K–12 curriculum, student programs, and professional training. Although other publishers have marketed academic curriculum, no one has produced a life-changing character package like that of A.C.E. Children’s minds develop best in a God-centered environment of absolutes and love. They emerge with a sweet attitude and with a greater, richer concept of God and how He wants them to live.

The A.C.E. program provides students with a complete academic curriculum that includes skill building, goal setting, reading practice, character building, and Biblical integration. This complete package begins with reading development and progresses through high school, giving students a solid foundation for pursuing their life goals.

Students who are more skilled may progress at a faster rate or may accelerate in the areas of their academic strengths. Slower students are encouraged to do their best but are able to work at their levels of proficiency and proceed as they are capable.

Each core subject consists of 12 PACEs per level. Typical students work daily on one PACE in each subject and may be performing at varying levels. The diagnostic test results help to identify academic weaknesses and prescribe a path to help students catch up. Most students complete at least 70 PACEs per year while maintaining academic balance by completing about the same number of PACEs in each assigned subject.

STANDARDIZED TESTING

A.C.E. School of Tomorrow® has a system that negates the need to repeat a grade or advance to more difficult material without mastering a subject. Through the FREE aceconnect Diagnostic Test online, students are tested based on what they have learned. Paper Diagnostic Test booklets are also available. Learning gaps—subject concepts the student may have missed—are documented after the student finishes testing. When weak areas are evident from the testing, the appropriate gap PACEs are prescribed to strengthen specific weaknesses. After completing the gap PACEs, the student progresses at his performance level. If he demonstrates mastery at all levels of testing, he has the ability to function at his chronological grade level.

The four academic areas tested include:

  • Math (Levels 1–9)

  • English (Levels 1–8)

  • Reading comprehension for science, social studies, Bible Reading, and Literature and Creative Writing (Levels 1–8)

  • Spelling (Levels 2–9)

BIBLICAL EDUCATION

BIBLICAL EDUCATION

The A.C.E. program helps churches and parents accomplish The Forgotten Biblical Mandate given to us by God in the Holy Scriptures. A.C.E.'s PACE (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education) system has been tried and proven to be very effective in providing all the basic academic disciplines as well as instilling Godly character into the lives of students. The reasons why the A.C.E. program works can be summarized in these Seven Key Foundational Concepts:

  1. Integration of Biblical Principles (Scripture memory, wisdom principles)

  2. Godly Character Training (A.C.E. characters, 90 character traits of Christ)

  3. Mastery-Based Learning

  4. Built-In Reinforced System of Learning

  5. Individualized Learning

  6. Development of Critical Thinking Skills

  7. Socialization
